“It was my first time joining a walking tour in Japan and Mandy has set the bar high, pointing out all the important historical architecture and little things we might miss in neighbourhoods like Ningyocho and Nihonbashi. I especially liked that we got to learn fun facts about currency and look for hidden fossils in a department store. We covered many aspects of Tokyo life from historical events up to the present. Mandy’s style of tour was so engaging and she made every facet of the tour come to life with her incredible enthusiasm and knowledge of all things Tokyo. She encouraged us to ask questions, which we did, a lot!!! And Mandy always answered with great detail. We learned so much from her but it felt like we had a local friend guiding us around.
